The uMngeni Municipality wishes to advance the following update regarding the power outage in KwaMevana and some parts of Greendale;-
The Fire has been put out, the situation is not looking good at all.
* The repairs can only be started in morning.
* Poles might need to be replaced.
* Lines crossing the river, snapped and needs to be replaced.
* Part of the MV cable also burned down.
The team will assess the network to ascertain circuits that can be back-fed.
The Municipality apologizes for inconveniences caused.
