The uMngeni Municipality wishes to announce the appointment of Mr Sivenathi Cwati as the new Manager for Information and Communication Technology. Mr Cwati previously worked as Senior Network Administrator for the Breede Valley Municipality from 2023 to 2024. He has also worked as the Systems Administrator for Emalahleni Local Municipality from 2020 to 2023.
Mr Cwati also worked as the ICT officer from 2017 to 2020 and as ICT Intern from 2014 to 2016 for Umzimvubu Local Municipality.
Mr Cwati holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Information Technology and an Advanced Diploma in Information Technology from the University of South Africa. He also obtained a National Diploma in Information Technology from Walter Sisulu University.
