A MUNICIPALITY AT WORK
His Worship the Mayor of uMngeni Municipality, Chris Pappas, today hand over equipment to six emerging farmers from various Wards within the municipal area. The emerging farmers who have communal gardens and are farming assortments of vegetables including butternut, potatoes, spinach, beans and cabbages, submitted their requests for support through our Local Economic Development unit. The Mayor handed over, amongst other items, spades, rakes, wheelbarrows, watering cans, mash wire fence and poles.
