This morning His Worship the Mayor of uMngeni Municipality, Chris Pappas, attended the commemoration of the October cancer awareness month programme hosted by the Senior Outreach Club Howick at the Howick West Hall. The Mayor delivered a message of hope and shared his own life experiences of having family members diagnosed with cancer. Cancer survivors also shared their challenging journeys in the fight against the disease. The Midlands Hospice received a donation to support the work that they do.
