The Deputy Mayor of uMngeni Municipality, Sandile Mnikathi, led a joint operation that incorporated, our Traffic officials and personnel from the uMgungundlovu Environmental Health section to assess business compliance at Zenzani Village.
These operations are ongoing and we would like to issue a stern warning to shop owners who are operating illegally and those that are selling stale food to communities.
This is in line with our key priority number 5; building safer communities.
